Hey all, I'm new to the site and have never fished in R.I. before but am planning on it. Can anyone shed any light on open water rules and regulations? I looked on the DEM website but couldn't find anything.

I heard that there is some decent pike fishing in Wordens Pond and definitely want to try it out. If opened to fishing does it fish well in the fall?

Thanks guys!

Trout is 5 fish per person per day. bass is 5 fish per person per day and 12in minimum size. pickerel have to be 14in long. not sure about pike. don't fish for pike but pickerel are really good right now and their related so i guess pike could be active.

Thanks for the reply adam. Are there any specific regulations on pike? Can you fish for them year round?

24 inch minimum size. no closed season. so yeah, you can fish them year round.
