No pic but I caught a 5lb largemouth at my favorite spot in upstate NY. I catch 2-3 pounders up there like we catch sunfish around here. I'd guess 3 out of 5 casts I catch a fish there. Great place hard to get at, really primitive area, you need a few days to really enjoy it and having food that doesn't need ice is a must. Unless you want to eat largemouth 3 times a day! In 5 years I've never cought anything but largemouth there and have never seen anything but largemouth when snorkling around there. The location remains undisclosed. Wink

yaker, i used to get in-fisherman magazine, until i realized its just one giant book of advertisements. but in the back there was a column called 'north with doc'. it was about this group of friends who would fly up to canada for a week and fish for pike and walleye all day. they made me jealous, and so do you, dang it.

i caught a 4 1/2 pound largemouth not long ago. wish i had a picture.. fish was nice
