Safe Ice Yet???

Hello all,

This is my first time posting anything here. I just recently joined and I cant wait to swap some stories and advice.

My question to you all is does anyone know where there is safe ice around this season? This warm weather is killing me I am just dying to break out the tilts. I am from souther RI so this is where I generally do most of my fishing, but the warm weather this winter has left all the ponds down here still open or just barely crusted in thin Ice.

Does anyone know of any ponds in northern RI or southern/central Mass where the ice is safe, and there is decent bass, pike or trout fishing to be had?

Not much yet, maybe by this weekend. Was thinking about Wordens but we'll have to see, heard it was open this morning.

I dont think anything is going to be safe this weekend. Im going to watch 30 acre. That pond freezes quickly and thaws late. That will probably be my first spot this season... if it gets cold enough. Im starting to have my doubts.
