This is an annual carp fishing, derby. It is an all ages friendly, grandparents weekend event. We typically award 6+ prizes in categories like largest fish, most fish, youngest/oldest to catch etc. Last year we had 45+ people catch 33+ carp, the largest being over 9 pounds.
Experienced anglers are on hand to teach and share their knowledge of rigs, baits, care, history and science of carp fishing. So come on out and enjoy a very social and fun day in a great park.
