Wanted to fish here until I found out you have to pay $20 to park $20 for boat trailer & $20 for boat per Smithfield Town hall. There are to many places to fish in RI & spending $60 isnt worht it
Plain red worms. Big O's Bait and Tackle is just north of the Pond's main entrance on Farnum Pike. Pass the entrance on the left and look for the house (Big O's) about 3/4 mile on the left. They are open from around 5:30am until 8:30pm. $3 a tub of 26-30 redworms... several baits and jigs available.
Some guy bought some live shiners at Big O's and left us with a few. This one was about 3" long and brought in a 10" perch.
