when to call it quits

It's starting to get cold and the voting is showing down. Is there a specific time to give it abreak or what. I'm also interested in over fishing. Should i give up or keep fishing

Is ice fishing worth the hassle. Also i do not want to call it quits fishing freshwater but it has been so quiet lately i feel like I'm eating my time. Need some advice from the veterans
