Review: I visit this pond often, I had great luck yesterday with a buddy of mine. We each caught a good sized Pickerel a piece. I estimate two feet and a few pounds. Very beautiful day and excellent scenery.

Review: This is a must visit, 10 lbs line a minimum (firewire), Unless your into ultra light fishing this pond will make 8 lbs test feel like 2 lbs test. No boats allowed and neighbors like people to park in the parking area as posted.
Fishing is fantastic. It's clean. Low fishing traffic. Assawompset Pond is now my second favorite local pond due to this. If you mainly fish Sawdy or Watuppa pond you will more than likely catch your biggest fish out of this pond and you'll be hooked.
